JORDANA MODERN MATTE SHADE CALIENTE & FRAPPUCINO REVIEW / NATASYAHARDIANTO

I am here to share my opinion about my recent purchase, which are Jordana Modern Matte! In my country, Jordana is not common to be sold in store. It was actually a findings when I was hanging out in Supermall (Pakuwon Trade Centre). The store name is Diva Cresent Store. I was quite surprise to find a store which sell imported drugstore brands with affordable price (they don't do too high markup). So ladies if you are in Surabaya, I'm highly recommend you to check this store out.

Talking about the lipstick itself, it is a nice matte lipstick which does not make your lips dry. It is the kind of matte that still has sheen on it. I bought the shade frappucino (brownish color) and caliente (reddish orange color).

The scent of it is nice, remind me of the scent of MAC lipsticks (sweet vanilla smell). The color payoff is also amazing. It is opaque in one swipe!

The lipstick can last as long as you are not eating. You do need to touch up after eating ladies.

Not like the common lipstick, Jordana put the shade on the side. At first I was confuse where I can see the name, but then I found it.

SO how do you think about the color ladies? By the way, this is my first brownish-color lipstick. It turned out to be super brown and I kinda hesitate to wear it again. But I might find a suitable eye makeup and outfit to wear with Frappucino.

MAC : REBEL REVIEW / NATASYAHARDIANTO

Today I am going to share my opinion about the famous Mac Rebel! I know it has been out for ages, and I am way late on discovering this beautiful berry shade, but hey, better late than never, right?

Lately I have been bolder and braver on lipstick colors. It was all started from a liquid lipstick from Bourjois, then the addiction continues. From fuschia / magenta, pink neon, coral, red, pinkish red, darker red, and so on, I have tried mostly all. But hey, now I am looking for darker berry / dark pink shade. I began to look for it, a perfect berry shade that suits my skintone, and especially I am looking for shade that is not too dark. I actually own a berry lipstick from LA Girl matte pigment gloss in the shade Rebel (also), but sadly I found LA Girl Rebel is way too vampy for me =(

And finally, a friend of mine in Netherlands, Celia, told me about this MAC Rebel lipstick. She was also in a hunt of darker lipstick shade for fall / winter (sadly we do not have those fall-winter season in Indonesia, but it does not stop me from getting this lipstick!). So I ran to MAC store and grab it.

The packaging is the regular MAC black bullet package. Quite small and sleek to carry on my bag.

Somehow if you look at it for the first time, it seems scary, but on the lips it is not that bold and dark. I do one or two time wear it on the daytime, but it is much more proper to be worn on a night out.

Sheer finish, but it can be build to certain opacity

It is a satin finish but definitely can be build to certain opacity. I am still looking for the perfect lip liner for this, because I find it quite hard to apply it on the edges of my lip. For now I use brush to apply but I think lip liner will be much more convenient.

Will I repurchase? Yes, I think this is one of unique shade that should be in my lipstick collection.
